Episode 83: Transitioning From a “Pick Me” Resident to “Boundary-Setting” Attending

As doctors, July marks a series of new transitions –  from being a student in training to a resident to an attending. For me, every July reminds me of the time when I made the mindset shift from being a “pick me” doc to discovering the type of attending I wanted to be because I knew for a fact that this wasn’t the career I wanted.

This episode is for you if you feel like you are the person who is really “grateful to have been chosen,” “grateful to just have a job,” and you're trying to convince yourself that it's more important to go along and get along.

If you want to release the guilt of asking for what you need and become an attending who sets and reinforces boundaries, tune in!
