Dr. Kim, shares her incredible journey to becoming a Physician Entrepreneur. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Kim's path to medicine wasn't without its challenges.

Dr. Kim opens up about how she chose to break free from societal expectations and craft her path. She acknowledges the pivotal role of courage and determination in her journey and how she confronted adversity head-on. She shares personal stories of mentors who believed in her when others doubted her, and how she gained financial literacy and an entrepreneurial mindset from her attendings.

About Dr Kim:

Kimberly Brown, MD, MPH, FAAEM is a human, an emergency physician, entrepreneur, author and coach. A midwesterner now living in the south, Kimberly has always had a passion for service, excellence and leadership.

Dr. Kim’s clinical work encompasses seeing patients as a locum tenens and telemedicine physician. She shares her passion for health and patient care via various media avenues, including the hit show, Untold Stories of the ER. She continues to inspire, lead and shape healthcare for the better as a Member at Large for the American Academy of Emergency Medicine’s Board of Directors and Ross University School of Medicine Alumni Council.

Dr. Kim's journey is not just about her own success. She is a coach and mentor to other doctors that dare to reimagine and redesign what life in and outside of the white coat should look like. Through her one-on-one coaching, she imparts her invaluable knowledge, strategic planning and hands-on guidance to early career doctors. Her ultimate goal is to equip others with the tools and wisdom she has gained along her remarkable journey, sparing them the hardships that she herself has faced.
